This is a very special Yellow Collar Macaw...
This is Rowdy. He came to me as a rescue of sorts. After many, many attempts and coaxing, he was not receptive of me. He had been through a few rough times in his past. But upon a visit from a very dear bird friend, Shelley, I noticed a connection. After her third visit over several weeks, I was convinced....Rowdy needed to go to her home.
This bird has been given a second chance at happiness and he is now absolutely one of the happiest I have seen. He adores Shelley and nurses her through being sick, loves to play trampoline with the covers on her bed as long as Shelley and her husband, Lloyd, are able to keep it going! Plus, his overall mental and physical well being has thrived. Thank you, Shelley for being at the right place at the right time!
